Greater Grace

another version

The Correct Lyrics:

Long ago even before
You made the world
You chose me
Through what Christ would do
A greater grace
You gave to me
You are the source
And Jesus is the means

Forgiveness, adoption, acceptance
Is Your grace
And I fall on my face
And I yield to You

Jesus bleibet meine Freude by Johann Sebastian Bach

According to this Wiki article: The music of the chorale movements is now best known for the piano transcription by Dame Myra Hess of Hugh P. Allen's choral version of Bach's arrangement, and is notable under the title Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring which approximately relates to "Jesus bleibet meine Freude", more closely translated as "Jesus shall remain my gladness"

I like that more literal translation, "Jesus shall remain my gladness"

Love God Hate Sin by Mylon LeFevre

This is a fun CCM classic song from 1987 (26 years ago!!!). It's almost humorous, but it's got a really good message. ;-)

Dust in The Wind by Kansas

According to one source this song was written by Kansas guitarist Kerry Livgren. He wrote it after reading a book on Native American poetry. The line that caught his attention was "For All We Are Is Dust In The Wind." Livgren eventually converted to Christianity after a long spiritual search for the truth.

There are various videos on YouTube where Kerry Livgren gives his Christian conversion testimony. Here are links to just two of them:

Keith Green Memorial Concert (Full)

I just found this video of Keith Green's Memorial Concert. Technically, it's not music I've "remembered". But it's about one of my favorite Christian musicians. Here's the video:
